Before the main concert, we are proud to present a specially invited act: bandoneon duo Crucci/Nuevo from OEB (Orquesta Escuela de Bandoneones @orquestaescueladebandoneones ), who will open the evening with their performance!

As part of his European tour, we welcome the acclaimed Argentine musician Mariano Godoy to Malmö, where he will offer an intimate duo concert together with Alan Haksten.

About the artists:

Mariano Godoy ( @godoy_musica ) is an Argentine singer, songwriter, bandoneonist, inventor and sound artist. He is known for his innovative work with the sound and poetics of the bandoneon, and for taking the instrument from the traditional framework of tango to new musical horizons. His eclectic music is deeply rooted in Argentine culture, and his invention of the “bandolican” – inspired by the idea of ​​a digital bandoneon – has led to collaborations and performances with world-class artists such as the Cuban Buena Vista Social Club, the Brazilian Toquinho, the American violinist Lindsey Stirling, the Canadian singer Loreena McKennitt, the Colombian Aterciopelados and the Norwegian rising star Aurora Aksnes, among many others.

Alan Haksten ( @alanhaksten ) is an Argentine composer, accordionist and guitarist. He has a solid education in music composition and electroacoustics, and has also studied advanced film and audiovisual composition in Sweden. With eight published albums, Alan has composed music for theatre, dance, video games and film. He has also toured extensively in both Europe and South America.
